Bayou Bounty Crawfish



Prices of our products DO NOT include shipping costs or handling fees. Unfortunately, it is not cheap to ship perishables overnight. In order to assure the freshest quality of our products, they MUST be shipped overnight to you. However, our shipping rates are the BEST we can offer when it comes to shipping perishable foods! (We only ship within the continental United States.) So, please be aware of these things before you place your order. We, at Bayou Bounty Crawfish, want to give you, our customers, a choice when it comes to shipping your delicious Louisiana seafood. We have arranged shipping in two different methods.

(1) Door-to-Door Service via UPS. Once your order is received, processed and picked up from us by UPS, you are guaranteed to receive your order at your door the next day. Please arrange for someone to be home to accept the package. If someone cannot be home to accept the package, we suggest one of two things: (1) have it delivered to a business where someone will be, OR (2) allow UPS to drop it off by your door anyway. For this option, you must give UPS permission in writing left taped to your door that they may leave the package. However, you as the customer, will be responsible for damage or theft to the package once left by UPS.


(2) If you want to save on shipping, call us direct and ask about shipping via  Southwest Airlines Cargo. Once your order is received and processed, we will drive it to Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans. There, it will be stored in a cooling facility until it is placed on the next available flight to be shipped out to you as soon as possible. We, at Bayou Bounty Crawfish, will contact you to let you know what flight it is on and what time it is scheduled to arrive at the airport. Unfortunately, there may be circumstances beyond our control and your package may miss its scheduled flight. If this occurs, someone will contact you at the information you gave, and let you know the new flight and time.

Shipping price to your nearest major airport that Southwest Airlines flies cargo into is determined by the weight of the package(s). Once we receive your specific order, we can give you a better estimate of the shipping price.

2-3 days advance notice for orders is preferred. However, ALL orders must be placed by 3:00pm CST in order to be shipped out the NEXT day. Due to processing, no order can be shipped out the same day it is placed. Please allow yourself sufficient time.

** Shipping via Air Cargo may be a little more hassle for you, but it is cheaper than door-to-door service. On the other hand, door-to-door service is a little more expensive, but A LOT more convenient. Fortunately, it is YOUR choice to decide which way you rather receive your delicious Louisiana seafood!

We usually ship out our seafood Monday through Friday. There is an extra fee for Saturday delivery if we ship it via UPS. We cannot ship to Alaska or Hawaii. State regulations prohibit this.


Our shipping rates are determined by the total weight of your order and/or the postal zip code to where your order is being shipped to. We use shipping rates set by UPS and/or Southwest Airlines, not us. If ordering online, your shipping rates will be calculated into your total cost when you go to Check Out. (However, you WILL also have an additional handling fee of $5.00 per box added to your total price.)

When ordering fresh foods, your total perishable order must be a minimum of 10 pounds (any combination of fresh foods) to be able for us to ship to your nearest major airport. There is a minimum of only 1 pound to ship via UPS. In either case, we use plenty of gel packs and a reusable, custom made wax box - a packaging combination that will insure your products arrive fresh and in good condition whether you have it shipped directly to your door or to the airport.

All perishable food orders are final!

If you are hosting an event, we recommend that you have your seafood delivered to you the day before the scheduled event to make sure it is there in time! Remember, once your seafood leaves our facility, it is out of our control. Handling Fee

There will be a $5.00 per box handling fee added to your order. This covers the cost of the box(es) and gel packs.


After you shop and checkout online, you will receive an e-mail notification stating that your order is in process. We will then proceed to pack your order for shipment. Once the order has been shipped, you will be notified with a tracking number to track your package(s).


Whether you choose to have your delicious Louisiana seafood delivered via UPS or air cargo, you can track your order. If being delivered by UPS, you will receive a tracking number from us. You can then go to and track your package using the tracking number we provide you. If being delivered by Southwest Airlines, you will receive an airway bill number from us. You can then go to and track your package using the airway bill number we provide you.


If you do not wish to place your order online from our shopping cart for any reason, you are more than welcome to order over the phone. Just give us a call between the hours of 9am-3pm CST, tell us what you want, and we will take your order information, billing information and shipping information. We will then process your order and ship it right out to you as soon as we can.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY will not share or sell your customer account information at all. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We guarantee it!
